In the world of home design, custom rugs are a game-changer. Far more than a decorative afterthought, the right rug can define a space, elevate a room’s design, and offer custom functionality — especially in the diverse homes of Northeast Ohio.
At Marshall Flooring, we specialize in creating custom rugs and runners that speak directly to your space and style. For homeowners from Mentor to Mayfield, we help turn flooring into art.
Why Custom Rugs Matter
Standard rug sizes don’t always work in unique or open-plan spaces, which are common in areas like Chagrin Falls and Solon. Custom rugs let you create a perfect fit for your room’s dimensions and layout — ensuring your rug enhances the space rather than feeling like an awkward placeholder.
Need a rug that perfectly defines a seating area in a sprawling Shaker Heights living room or a custom runner that mirrors the curves of a historic Gates Mills staircase? We make it happen.
Personalization for Every Taste
At Marshall Flooring, we believe a rug should reflect your personality. That’s why we offer a wide range of materials — from luxurious silk and soft wool to durable nylon — and countless styles, from traditional Persian patterns to contemporary geometrics.
Clients from University Heights to Strongsville love working with our design team to create pieces that complement their hardwood, LVP, or laminate floors while adding texture and warmth to their interiors.
Rugs with Purpose
Custom rugs aren’t just about looks. They also serve practical roles:
-
Sound absorption in busy Cleveland homes
-
Durability in high-traffic Westlake entryways
-
Safety on hardwood stairs in Brecksville
Plus, a well-placed rug protects your investment in hardwood or laminate flooring while adding layers of depth to your decor.
