Rugs have always been a home essential, but lately, they’ve evolved into something more—statement pieces, conversation starters, works of art. In a world where flooring options have become smarter and more stylish than ever, rugs are holding their ground—and making waves.
At Marshall Flooring, we’re leading Ohio’s rug renaissance, offering the largest selection of area rugs in the state, along with full custom fabrication services. From hand-knotted wool to custom-designed hallway runners, if you can envision it, we can create it.
The Quiet Power of a Great Rug
Rugs do more than fill a space—they define it. They provide visual warmth, texture, and a grounding force that pulls the whole room together. Whether you’re designing a formal living room, cozy den, or luxe master suite, the right rug becomes the focal point.
Why Ohio Homeowners Are Choosing Custom
Pre-cut, mass-produced rugs don’t always fit today’s dynamic homes. Our clients in Cleveland, Shaker Heights, and Pepper Pike want more—rugs that fit around fireplaces, under staircases, down long hallways, or in grand foyers with odd dimensions. That’s where custom shines.
Our fabrication room is where the magic happens. You pick the size, shape, material, edge finish, and even pattern. Want a subtle tone-on-tone design for your beachy Bratenahl getaway? Or a Persian-style runner with a modern twist for your Chagrin Falls colonial? We’ll make it happen.
Hand-Knotted, Hand-Made, High Art
Our hand-made rugs are crafted from fine materials like wool, silk, and nylon. These aren’t just rugs—they’re heirlooms. Every knot, every weave, tells a story. Whether you prefer a traditional medallion style, abstract contemporary flair, or vintage motifs, we’ve got something that matches your aesthetic.
Layering Rugs Over Hard Floors
Rugs are the perfect pairing for hardwood, LVP, and laminate floors. They soften sound, add grip, and bring balance to the sleekness of hard surfaces. Try layering a vintage runner over wide-plank oak hardwood in your Mentor home, or a bold geometric rug atop LVP in your Solon office.
One Store. Endless Possibilities.
At Marshall Flooring, we’ve curated styles for every personality—from minimalist and modern to timeless and ornate. No matter your taste, we’ll help you find (or design) the perfect rug.
We proudly serve Mayfield Heights, Beachwood, Twinsburg, Hudson, and surrounding areas with an unrivaled rug selection. Come visit our showroom and see why Ohio homes are falling in love with rugs all over again.
