There’s a quiet revolution happening underfoot. As trends shift toward individuality and thoughtful interiors, custom rugs have stepped into the spotlight as the statement piece every home needs. At Marshall Flooring, we’re proud to offer not just Ohio’s largest selection of area rugs, but also a full-service custom rug fabrication experience that turns your vision into a handcrafted centerpiece.
From downtown Cleveland lofts to historic homes in Shaker Heights and modern builds in Solon, rugs are redefining how homeowners express their style.
Why Rugs Matter More Than Ever
Rugs do more than cover floors — they ground a space. They soften sound, add texture, and create visual zones within open-concept homes. But more than anything, they’re one of the most personal and versatile design tools available.
Styles for Every Story
Whether you're drawn to the ornate beauty of hand-knotted Persian rugs or prefer bold geometric patterns in contemporary silhouettes, our collection reflects a spectrum of taste. We carry everything from minimalist silk flatweaves to rich wool heirloom pieces — all under one roof in Mayfield Heights.
Custom Rugs: Your Vision, Our Craftsmanship
With a full fabrication room onsite, we specialize in bringing custom rug designs to life. Choose your material — wool, nylon, silk, or blends — then select the pattern, shape, binding, and size. Hallway runners, stair treads, oddly shaped living rooms, specialty sizes for unique nooks — if you can imagine it, we can create it.
Perfect for Layering
Rugs over hardwood or LVP floors? Absolutely. Layering rugs adds warmth and depth. It’s especially effective in Cleveland Heights homes with large rooms, where zoning with rugs can define dining, seating, or reading areas.
Durability Meets Design
Our rugs don’t just look good — they’re built for life. We offer high-performance materials for families with kids, pets, or high foot traffic, along with luxury fibers for rooms that call for elegance.
Handmade Heritage
Our collection includes hand-knotted rugs crafted using centuries-old techniques, offering an authenticity and richness you can see and feel. These pieces are art, investment, and function rolled into one.
From Fabrication to Installation
We’re more than just a rug showroom. Our team assists you with design consultation, measurement, customization, and professional placement — so your rug fits flawlessly into your home.
Marshall Flooring serves customers throughout Northeast Ohio, including communities like Beachwood, Chagrin Falls, Mentor, and Westlake. No matter your home’s style or size, our rug specialists are ready to help you design something uniquely yours — a rug that doesn’t just fit your floor, but fits your life.
