Area rugs are no longer accessories—they’re anchors. They define space, add personality, and make a room feel complete. And at Marshall Flooring, we’re proud to house the largest selection of area rugs in the entire state of Ohio. From intricate hand-knotted silks to vibrant contemporary wool masterpieces, our rug gallery in Mayfield Heights is a design lover’s dream—and it’s time more of Northeast Ohio knew it.
Rugs are the unsung heroes of interior design. They add texture and color, dampen sound, and protect hard surfaces. But more than that, they tell stories. We work with clients from Lyndhurst to Hudson, creating custom rug solutions that fit their spaces and styles perfectly.
What makes our rug department so special? It starts with choice. We carry thousands of options—traditional, tribal, modern, transitional, minimalist, maximalist. You name it. We also offer a full fabrication facility, meaning if you can envision it, we can build it. Custom shapes, hallway runners, stair runners, odd angles, oversized rooms—no problem.
Looking for a custom 10x14 wool rug for a Beachwood living room with curved walls? Done. Need a hand-knotted silk runner with a Moroccan motif for your Moreland Hills entryway? Consider it handled. Want to design a custom monogrammed playroom rug in Cleveland Heights? Let’s build it together.
Rugs aren't just beautiful—they're made to last. Our hand-knotted selections are crafted from the world’s best wools, silks, and synthetics. These are heirloom pieces, not big-box throwaways. For customers seeking investment pieces, our design consultants walk you through sourcing, weaving origin, material quality, and care.
And if you’re not ready for a custom rug? We still have hundreds of in-stock pieces to browse, ranging from affordable synthetics to one-of-a-kind Persians. Whether you live in Chesterland or Copley Township, our team will help you find the perfect piece—or make it for you.
This is one of the fastest-growing areas of our business, and we’re excited to bring it to more homes across the Cleveland area. Rugs are no longer an afterthought—they’re the centerpiece. And at Marshall Flooring, we’re ready to roll out the red carpet (literally) to show you what’s possible.
