Our story started back in 1966, when Grandfather Marshall opened a small shop focused entirely on carpet. Over the years, that single idea grew into a full showroom, and the family kept building on the foundation he laid. Today his grandsons carry on the same hands-on approach he believed in from the very first sale.
From a single carpet shop to a Northeast Ohio mainstay
What began with carpet slowly expanded into hardwood, laminate, tile, and luxury vinyl as the needs of local homes changed. Each addition came from listening to what families in the area actually wanted underfoot. Every step of that growth happened right here, shaped by the people we serve.
Along the way, Marc and his best friend Steve opened a rug gallery across the street. That side of the business grew too, which is why our area rugs collection is now one of the largest in Ohio. It is the kind of family story you only get from a business that grew up alongside its customers.
Today our showroom in Mayfield Heights stretches across seventeen thousand square feet, one of the largest in Northeast Ohio. Walking the floor, you can see and feel hundreds of options in person, which is something a screen can never quite replace.
